Flood Insurance Studies hold the numbers floodplain work depends on: flood profiles, discharge tables, and base flood elevations, locked inside scanned PDFs. FIS Explorer reads them back out: ask questions and get cited answers, pull tables as clean downloadable data, and lift station-elevation coordinates straight off a flood profile by clicking the curve.
